Direct Awards
We understand that often the needs of the Resilience & Security world are niche and not all services will have a large number of suppliers. If this is the case, or you just like a particular supplier you can award them through the Framework, provided we can demonstrate value for money and they have passed our rigorous approval process.

Multiple Quotes
Many customers require multiple quotes, often three, in order to meet their internal procedures. This provides the benefits of competition, price benchmarking, risk mitigation, transparency, and regulatory compliance, making it a preferred option for many procurement scenarios, particularly when the value of the contract warrants it or when working with new suppliers, whereas a Direct Award may offer simplicity and speed in certain situations.

Mini Competitions
A Mini Competition is ideal for when you have more complex or high-value requirements that need tailored solutions, and when ensuring transparency, fairness, and compliance with procurement regulations is important. A Mini Competition fosters competitive bidding among pre-approved suppliers, leading to better value and more innovative solutions.

Bespoke Frameworks
RSF's standard framework is an open single supplier framework where RSF acts as the single supplier working with our suppliers to fulfil the needs of our customers. However, at times some clients may prefer a bespoke framework just for them, this may be appropriate when a customer has very specific needs, restrictions, or is in a highly protected market sector. In this situations we will work with you to design and operate a framework that meets all your needs.

Sometimes the requirements of a customer can be complicated and broad requiring multiple and varying contracts, tenders, procurements, and suppliers.
